It's been ages but WE ARE BACK 👊

About 4 million meetings later(!), we are ready to restart our Unit programme tonight over on Zoom where we will launch the term. We're well excited & looking forward to offering some safe + blended activities to our Explorers 🥳

We're privileged to be partnered with @LeonardCheshire, Sandbach; a care home for residents with physical disabilities.

We're planning how our Explorers can come together with residents to promote social inclusion. Even at a distance, we can make a big impact in our community 🤝

We are moving on and up.

Having put online sessions on hold, it's a leaders meeting tonight to plan the way ahead for the Unit. Discussing how we can compliment our online meets with some fun outdoor sessions in small groups/patrols.

Strange, but very exciting times ahead! ❤️

Who we are

We are Shipton ESU, the Explorer Scout Unit serving Sandbach and surrounding areas.

We are a part of the South West Cheshire District.

Relaunched in 2018, we provide 14 to 18-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and skills for life.

Scouting helps young adults reach their full potential. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

We meet every Thursday during school term time, usually at the Sandbach Scout Centre from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.
